Sweet Summertime - Part II

The second half of our summer was just as busy as the first half. Can't believe it's already over! Now it's time to catch you all up on what we've been up to over the last few months!

Uncle J and Auntie A were home for a week in July. Cooper had a lot of fun playing with them!

Cooper loved getting all the attention!

Uncle John taught Cooper all about the latest fashion trends

...and took Cooper for a swim in Auntie A's parent's pool!

The entire fam went over to Put-in-Bay for the day. Too bad it rained most of the time we were there, which limited what we were able to do. We'll have to try again next year!

1st time on the Jet Express!

Infamous cannon pic!

We celebrated my dad's 60th birthday while John & Allyson were home too

We attended the annual cabin party with my college roomies @ Hilari's parent's cabin, which is located off a small lake just north of Columbus. Always a fun time! I still have to laugh how our time spent at the cabin over the years has evolved from crazy late night drinking games to doggy day care to kiddyland. How fun though for all of us to get together with our growing families. I was disappointed that there were new baby announcements this year!
From Left to Right: Beti w/ Lucas, Steph D holding Abby, me w/ Stephs's other little girl Emily (Cooper was napping), Steph P & Jenny w/ Daisy, and Hilari w/ Carson

Poor Abby! Cooper kept stealing this octopus toy away from her. I guess we need to work on the sharing skills!
Cooper got to go for a boat ride on Candlewood Lake. At first, he wasn't so sure...

Carson & Cooper take a break to share a Yuengling (great choice!)

Jill (in the middle) wasn't able to make the cabin party, but she did visit us later in the summer.
Beti & Lucas came over to see Jill too!

The boys loved Jilly!
We also made a trip to Liberty to visit Dutch's family. Cooper was so excited to see his Nana, Papa and all his aunt, uncles and counsins!
Cooper and his cousin Hagen take a break from playing to enjoy some "Clifford" juice

Over Labor Day weekend, we took Cooper to the science musuem and also got to check out the air show that was going on downtown. Cooper didn't know what to think of the loud airplanes!

As for what's new with Cooper, he is saying a lot more words now and can say his name. That is if you count "Booper"! It's so cute when he says it! He loves animals (and making their sounds) and has been very fascinated with trains as of lately. Oh, and he's still obsessed with balls!

He loves to dump this bin of balls. Thankfully, he's good at cleaning up!

He typically always has a ball or two in his hands

It's not unusual for him to leave balls in random places through out the house.
On this particular day, Dutch found a football in the shower!
Dutch gave him some old baseball cards and now he's obsessed with them.
He'll sit for a long time and look through them...pointing out the ball on each card!
Cooper also loves to hit balls off his tee....

Cooper loves to dance too! He definitely gets these dance moves from his daddy! :)
