Spring Break '11

During the week of Dutch's spring break, I took off work too and we headed south...to southern Indiana/Ohio that is! We spent the first part of the week visiting Dutch's family. Lots of catching up to do seeing we hadn't been back since Christmas!

We got to meet our new neice Raegan. So sweet! Cooper now has 3 cousins!

Cooper also got to hang out with cousin Hagen a bit...

And Colten too! This picture is too cute because Colten had just taken his first steps the day before we saw him. While trying to take a picture of the 2 boys together, Colten took off and was so excited to be walking on his own. Cooper looks quite jealous!

Cooper loved playing with Granny & these bunnies. I'm just glad that both bunnies still have 2 ears!

Cooper also loved playing with Nana and Papaw's bucket of farm animals. He was so obsessed with the bear that he got to take it home with him!

We took Cooper to Miami's campus to check out where his mommy & daddy met. He got a Miami hockey t-shirt and a taste of Bagel & Deli!

Half way through the week, we headed down to Cincinnati to catch up with all of our friends down there. It had been too long! On the way, we stopped by to see our old neighbors who recently moved back to Cincinnati. Cooper got to hang out with their twin girls Kara & Ava for a bit! So cute!

Cooper experienced lots of firsts on this trip, including his first taste of ice cream! We also introduced him to LaRosa's pizza. He loved it!

Once we got to Cincinnati, we stayed with my college roomie Hilari & her family. Her little boy Carson is 4 months older than Cooper. They had so much fun playing together!

Carson & Cooper fascinated with Hilari's iPad. Cooper was really trying to figure out how it worked! Too smart for their own good!!

We took Cooper & Carson to the Newport Aquarium. They both loved it! Cooper couldn't stop pointing at all the fishies....BIG and small!

The aquarium wore Cooper out! As soon as we put him back in the stroller, he was fast asleep. We hadn't even left the aquarium yet!

One last stop before heading home! We visited with the Tudors & had dinner with them. We finally got to meet baby Abby, who is 3 weeks older than Cooper. Abby's daddy Curt is one of Dutch's college buddies.
