It was love at first sight! How can you refuse those chubby checks & smile!?!
We are now proud parents of an adorable little boy. So far...he has been a great baby, but sure is a stinker! My labor & delivery was long due to him being posterior (face up)...and deciding to transition into this position late in the game! We survived though & are recovering well. Thank you everyone for your love & support!!
We have already hit some bumps in the road though & been tested as parents. Cooper had to be readmitted into the hospital less than 24 hours after returning home due to his jaundice level peaking too high in less than a day! We knew they were elevated when he left the hospital the first time, but we never imagined he'd have to readmitted seeing jaundice is common & most babies are treated at home. That was not the case w/ Cooper! :(
While it wasn't easy to see Cooper being pricked & poked for 2 days and only hold him every few hours to feed him seeing he had to be in an incubator under ultraviolet lights, we survived! He is now healthy baby & we are very blessed for that!

He is so cute Jules! So glad you're all home and well now. You were right, his little incubator does look like a mini tanning bed! Reminds me of our Miami days ;)
