It feels like just yesterday we were headed to the hospital with so much excitement knowing we'd get to FINALLY meet our baby after a long 9 month wait. On May 5, 2010, our lives changed forever when we were blessed with a sweet baby boy. Cooper Reid Hughes was stubborn in his arrival, but he made it worth the wait! The past year has been an amazing one that we'll never forget! We've grown and learned so much in such a short period of time. It's been a blast though! We've smiled and laughed more each day thanks to Cooper. He's developed such a cute, fun personality as of lately too. It's been so amazing to watch him grow and develop. I just can't believe how fast time has flown by! We've spent quite a bit of time lately reflecting back on the last year and looking back through pictures. It's crazy to think he was once this small!
To truly capture how much Cooper grew and changed over his first year, we took monthly pictures in the same chair. I've shared them each month with you on this blog. However, now that a year has past it's been fun to look back at them continuously to really see how much he's changed. I have to laugh because we knew Cooper had some chubby cheeks (that are definitely hard to resist kissing all the time), but WOW! I realize now how much he's thinned out in the last few months since he's become so active. You can definitely tell the months too when he needed a haircut. Haha! He's already had two and due for his third! :)
